CITY TOUR

At 1:30 pm we will meet in the cathedral of Cusco where the most important representations of Cusquenian art are exhibited, represented by beautiful canvas and sculptures that decorate its walls and chapels. Our next stop will be Qoricancha, this inka temple, dedicated to sun worship, will show up the best example of fusion between inka’s culture and catholicism brought by the conquerors. After visiting the temple, we will take a bus to plateau of Sacsayhuaman, where huge walls were built with gigantic monoliths that will leave us astonished by the impressive technique used in its construction. We finish our tour with the visit to the temples of Qenqo, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay. Return to the city at 6:30 p.m.
